Restaurant Background

2020 was a year we all will never forget….

As the restaurant industry was crumbling John quickly shifted to running his own business and cook for individual families on the Vineyard. Catering was the next organic step in growing his business. And here we are!

But prior to that John has spent 15 years cooking at restaurant kitchens. Majoring in philosophy in college, the art of being a chef had to be earned with hard work.

Years later this career path lead to John becoming the head chef of Chilmark Tavern in 2016 and the Beach Plum Inn in following years. There John managed the food program for dinner operations, events and breakfast. He had the honor to cook for some of the most well known people and made lifelong friends.

Apart from the Vineyard John had experience working at the restaurants in many destinations spots, naming just a few: Yellowstone Club (Montana), Park city (Utah) and Hana (Maui Island, Hawaii).
